In early 2023 we became Canada’s only facility certified to perform Canine Total Medial Elbow Replacement. Shortly after that, we performed Canada's first medial elbow replacement!

TMER is an end-stage treatment for severe elbow dysplasia that can no longer be managed conservatively. This is a highly advanced orthopaedic procedure and required extensive team commitment, training and certification to be able to perform clinical cases.

TATE Total Elbow Replacement

In December 2024 our surgery team achieved certification to perform TATE Total Elbow Replacement as well. TATE elbow replacement offers an alternative for patients that have more extensive joint disease. This procedure can return patients to happy, playful, pain-free dogs who do not require daily medication or physical therapy to manage their disease.
